Some people just make an instant impact. Such is the case with designer Jan Barboglio. For more than 20 years, Barboglio has forged a reputation as being vastly creative by designing a signature line of apparel. Now she is concentrating on fashioning pieces for the home.
Jan is fond of Mexican tradition, and much of that tradition is religious in nature. And, inspired by the romance of Old Mexico, she creates decorative wrought iron accessories and furniture infused with glass and wooden accents. Each piece is hand-cut, fashioned, forged, and finished to a tanned-leather luster. An embossed, etched signature is stamped and accompanied by a sentiment, proverb, or poem in every creation.
