Model Metalworks, Inc. was created in the year 2000 in Mexico City. We had a dream of owning an import and export business. We started working with a high quality metal company outside the city producing and designing hand made, sand cast, polished alloy. After years of hard work and many challenges along the way we are proud to supply stores with our beautiful products all over the United States.

As our company has evolved we have started working with new hand made items. We found communities who weave extraordinary pine needle baskets and work with these very talented groups of artisans designing and creating. There are approximately 23 families devoted to weaving these astonishing pieces of art. We have gotten to know them, their homes, their children and it is an honor to work with them. The baskets represent their culture and traditions as well as help them both economically and ecologically. Model Metalworksm, Inc. is pleased to bring to you this eco-friendly and green product.
