How to Make Your Wedding Standout

How to Make Your Wedding Standout

Even though wedding season is just about over, we thought we’d share some great ‘standout’ ideas for next season. We got these great ideas from the witty and knowledgeable Georgia Tolley and her fabulous blog, Before the Big Day.

These are such wonderful suggestions, and we have the perfect accessories to help a bride create this experience for her big day!

Who doesn’t love the ‘his & hers’ signature cocktail at a wedding? It’s such a fun way to express each other’s tastes and share with friends and family. There are so many cocktail pieces to choose from, but some of our absolute faves are the Verglas Shot Glass and the Verglas Goblet. The look can go with just about any wedding style. Simon Pearce is always a great place to look for a number of glass styles. A couple of our favorite collections are the Hartland collection – for a fun, yet sleek look; the Barre Hand Blown Stemware – for a¬†thoroughly¬†modern feel; and the Cavendish style – a timeless design.

Sferra Festival Table Linens come in an array of color options to mix and match your wedding colors. The tablecloths and napkins are a great way to add pops of color to your wedding table. To get started, check out Sferra’s iTunes app to help match colors to place settings instantly.

We absolutely loved the idea of using fruit instead of flowers, and came up with some great pieces that would look great with colorful snacks. The Arte Italica Tuscan Olive Tray could be dressed up with bright berries, slices of apples or even sprigs of mint. For larger, maybe more exotic fruit fare, we recommend Jan Barboglio’s Ballin Raised Server. What a statement piece! If clean and modern is the look of your wedding, Simon Pearce comes the rescue once again with bowls from the Chelsea Collection, Corinth Collection, Dover Footed Bowls, the Hanover Bowls and the Revere Glass Bowls.
