Like most fine porcelain dinnerware, Blue Pheasant's Eleni dinnerware is made using lead. In accordance with Proposition 65, they issue the following warning to their California customers: “Use of this product will expose you to lead and/or cadmium, chemicals known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.”
Care: Porcelain collections which feature gold-leaf rims are NOT suitable for the microwave, dishwasher, over, or freezer. Because of this delicate, exquisite detail we recommend hand-washing, using a mild dish soap and warm water.
