Return Policy

The Picket Fence wants you to be fully satisfied with every item you purchase from us.

  • You may return your purchase within 15 days of delivery confirmation.
  • There will be a 15% restocking fee on most returned merchandise that "ships from vendor".
  • Matouk returns, with the exception of special orders, custom or monogrammed items, or down, do not have a restocking fee. However, customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Prior to returning your item you must contact us using the instructions below.
  • Blue Pheasant returns are subject to Blue Pheasant's return policy. Items are subject to a 15% restocking fee, plus the charge for freight both ways.
  • If the return is a result of our, or a manufacturer error, the restocking fee does not apply.
  • Prior to returning your item you must contact us using the instructions below.
  • If you do not obtain a Return Authorization Number, and the item is returned to us, it will be shipped directly back to you.
  • If item is returned directly back to the manufacturer without a RAN, a 25% restocking fee will apply.
  • The item must be returned in new, shelf ready condition, meaning the item is exactly as you have received it, and as someone else would be able to purchase it from our shelves. Items are to be unlaundered, free of lint and hair, in original packaging, and with all tags attached.
  • You can expect to receive your refund within 15 days of receipt of your return.

The Following Items Will Not Be Accepted for Return

  • Items that have exceeded the 15 day return period.
  • Items that have been laundered.
  • Down or Down free pillows, comforters, featherbeds, mattresses or mattress pads, unless part of Peacock Alley's 100-night warranty program. See information below.
  • Custom, monogrammed, or items listed on our site as Special Order.
  • Jewelry.
  • Items that are holiday/seasonal.

For up to 100 nights, if for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return your purchase. We will replace or refund the cost of your purchase (excluding shipping fees), no questions asked, as long as you have followed these simple steps:

  • Your return must have the original receipt as proof-of-purchase in the original packaging.
  • Use of a protector on your pillow or duvet is required and must be evident in use of the product.
  • Returned products must have been used as intended and cannot show signs of physical damage or abuse such as stains, tears, or cuts.
  • Down and down alternative products cannot be customized or monogrammed.

Helpful Return Information:

  • The Peacock Alley 100-night warranty is effective beginning with the date of your purchase.
  • Refunds are limited to the original purchaser; no receipt is transferable.
  • Purchases made through The Picket Fence, should be returned to The Picket Fence.

For purchases made through The Picket Fence, refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt and after review of your returned product; refunds will be credited to you in the original form of payment and must be accompanied by your Return Authorization Number (RMA), which can be requested here.

  • Refunds will exclude the shipping portion of your original purchase unless your return is due to manufacturing or shipping error on our part.
  • Returns due to manufacturer’s error (defects in fabric or faulty workmanship) will be replaced or refunded for a full year from the date of purchase and will include the shipping portion of your original purchase.
  • Should you request and receive a replacement down or down alternative product, your replacement product will be covered by this same 100-day warranty from the new date of purchase.


Price Match Policy

While we strive to give our customers the best possible prices on our products, we realize that occasionally they can be found at lower prices at different retailers. We are more than happy to match the advertised price on in-stock, identical items. If the price that you find does not include free shipping, we reserve the right to add comparable shipping charges.
